The Episcopal Foundation of Dallas assisted Holy Trinity by the Lake with its Sandwich Sunday Project by funding a grant for two new refrigerators in their parish hall. The refrigerators allow them to safely provide many sandwiches and other food items to the food insecure.
On specific Sundays, members of the parish drop off sandwiches when they come for services. The photos are from December 8, 2019. Many sandwiches were stored safely and then transported to Austin Street Center. The EYC group from Holy Trinity along with parents and other adults went to Austin Street to help serve the meal that evening. Holy Trinity is not only providing food for those in need but is also helping our young people develop a heart for service.
