St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Dallas demonstrated what it truly means to live out the Gospel. With hearts full of compassion and hands ready to serve, approximately ten to twenty Sandwich Ministers come together each month to prepare 500+ sandwiches, fresh fruit, and cookies for the guests of Austin Street Center, offering nourishment and dignity to our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
At the Episcopal Foundation of Dallas, we’re proud to stand alongside churches like St. Luke’s, where faith comes alive through service and compassion. The Foundation’s fundamental granting priority is to support the mission and ministries of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, particularly where strong community involvement is evident. Our funding priorities continue to be basic needs, specifically in the areas of poverty, homelessness, food insecurity, and health insecurity.
