The Episcopal Foundation of Dallas Grant Committee members recently visited Incarnation Place (IP) to learn more about the work they are doing in Dallas’ Roseland Community. Their mission is to encourage and empower children and families in the Roseland community to overcome poverty and trauma, develop their skills, and self-advocate for their highest human potential. Through their education programs, health and wellness programs, and encouraging community development, they help to improve the lives of approximately 3500 adults and children. In 2024, IP provided 1277 instances of direct service to approximately 800 of Roseland’s 2000+ residents.  In addition, IP leads the Roseland Partners (RP) collaborative, where they work with 23 other agencies to offer an array of wrap-around resources for infants, children, teens, adults, and seniors. RP members are both secular and non-secular. The cornerstones of our work – independently and with Roseland Place – are a strong start (early childhood), literacy, mental health, and transformative relationships. To learn more about their work and how you can help, visit their webpage at www.incarnationplace.org.

The Foundation’s fundamental granting priority is to support the mission and ministries of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, particularly where strong community involvement is evident. Our funding priorities continue to be basic needs, specifically in the areas of poverty, homelessness, food insecurity, and health insecurity.
