For Ministries

We are About Kingdom Growth

The Episcopal Foundation of Dallas aspires to free our ministries – grow wealth through wise investments, lift financial burdens of those who serve, and maximize the impact of our shared missions.

The grant from Episcopal Foundation of Dallas made it possible for 411 volunteers to serve for 772 hours, feeding 2,369 people. Altogether, we served more than 25 times in the mobile kitchen in 2017. Your gift has made each of these events possible and has allowed us to do the work God has called us to do through the BlessMobile. We are profoundly grateful.

Project US - Unite and Serve

The Foundation provided the opportunity for parishes throughout the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas to unite and serve in feeding the poor, equipping youth, breaking cycles of poverty, reconciling communities, clothing children and sharing the transforming good news of Jesus Christ.
The Episcopal Foundation of Dallas is honored to partner with Our Friends Place by supporting the Transitional Living Center program and the mission to break the generational cycles of abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness.

The Transitional Living Center (TLC) program was launched in 1992 to provide a stable and affordable home environment for young women to continue learning the skills necessary to become self-reliant.

All young women in the program are required to enroll in an educational or vocational program, hold a job, and allocate a portion of their salary to rent and savings. Our Friends Place Staff establishes house rules to keep residents accountable for their actions and help create individual plans to create a path to self-sufficiency.
